Our neighborhood

Villa Flora located at the South-West part of Samos, in one of the most beautiful areas of the island, at Kampos Marathokampou area (also known as Votsalakia).

It is about calm area, with many natural beauties, beaches, sighs, dominated by the mountain Kerkis towering above with 1,443 m height.

The area hase also numerous shops and services that meet the needs of visitors.

Two scenic beaches are just 150 meters from Villa Flora apartments and at the round area there are many more many more for all tastes.

Beaches

Two beautiful, crystal clear waters beaches are located at 150 m. from Villa Flora, one is Koukounara beach with small pebbles and 600 m long and the other is Aspres beach, hidden, in a very calm environment.

Further, at a distance of 700 m east, is the beach Kambos (Votsalakia), 2 km long, laid with small pebbles and sand.

At the wider area has many more beaches, cosmopolitan or not. The most famous is Psili Ammos beach” (kids friendly sandy beach), at a distance 2 km west of Villa Flora, and Limnionas beach laid with small pebbles and sand, at a distance 5 km west Villa Flora.

Sights of the region

Pythagoras Cave, where Pythagoras used it to meditate or resorted when tyrant Polycrates persecuted.

Agios Iisidoros Tarsanas was of the biggest wooden boat building workshop at Aegean area. Today few workshops operating.

Opposite Villa Flora located our restaurant “Loukoulos” where you can take your breakfast, brunch, or dinner, from traditional Greek recipes, daily fresh-cooked in wood-heated oven, at a lush-green yard viewing the Aegean Sea. The restaurant is recommended by the Greek restaurant guide “Alpha Guide” as well as many foreign travel guides.

Further down the road, at a distance of 300 m to 1500 km, you will find many more choices inbetween restaurants, grills, fish-taverns, pizzerias, cafes, bars etc.
